Tatie's Phnom Penh french bakery

Our Concept

Tatie’s Phnom Penh is the story of 3 French Entrepreneur & friend: Aude, Helene & Bea.

We’ve put together our diverse background & experiences to create a place filled with love , authenticity & gourmandise. Prioritizing and focusing on our passion and creativity to do what we do best: sharing our love for the French Gastronomy and savoir-faire.

We specialize in small production, focusing on quality over quantity. Offering a large range of French delicacies using premium ingredients.

We have opened our first shop in September 2021 in the heart of Phnom Penh, just a few steps from the National Museum of Cambodia.

And more recently, we have opened a second location on street 110 near the Vattanac Tower. Perfectly located for business in the area & resident from Toul Kork/Sen Sok.

Our Story

AUDE - OUR CHEESE MAKER:

Born to eat cheese and raised to make cheese, I don’t remember a time when I didn’t have a spoon and a whisk in my hand. So I really had no choice but to follow my passion and live my destiny! After I graduated from the Institute Paul Bocuse in Lyon with a Culinary & Innovation Management Master’s Degree, I moved to Cambodia to be The Chef at the French Embassy. I then opened Pepe Bistro and it’s now time to live my dream to the fullest and to make Cheese with my Taties!

HELENE - OUR BAKER:

Bread has been a passion throughout my life. It started with my grandfather when I was a child, continued with my studies at Paul Bocuse Institute, and sparked a fire when I met Nicolas Supiot, an incredible farmer baker. Pursuing my quest to be happy in life, I now feel the need to fully dedicate myself to this art and satisfy my pursuit for authenticity, truth, and connection in this current world. With that in mind, I expect to rock it with my Tat's.

BEA - OUR PASTRY CHEF:

Born and raised in Toulouse (France) I’ve been making cakes for fun ever since I can remember. I spent my childhood weekends making treats for my family (cakes, waffles, crepes, you name it!). I’ve lived abroad since 2010 working in hospitality and in the process lost sight of what I truly dreamed of. Thus in 2019, I trained and became certified as a Pastry Chef. Better late than never, I know! Finally, I can pursue my passion for baking surrounded by the Best Team in Phnom Penh!
